Compact Plug N Play Air Handling Units
Our ‘Compact’ range of self contained air handling units offer high efficiency with ultra-low spacial requirements. The ideal solution where plant space is at a premium and low operating costs are demanded.
The unit incorporates a high efficiency counter flow plate heat exchanger offering sensible heat efficiencies upto 95%. An alternative thermal wheel solution is also available.
Built-in controls greatly reduce on-site installation time and costs.
Standard sizes are available from 140 l/s upto 3000 l/s.
Moduralized Air Handling Units
Our ‘Klimair2’ modular range of air handling units are available in nearly 40 standard sizes and cover an air volume range from 300 l/s upto 28,000 l/s
Each unit is custom designed using Aircalc software to incorporate filtration, heat recovery, cooling, heating, humidification and attenuation, all as required to meet the specification.
Fans can be traditional forward or backward centrifugal type, however, are more commonly high efficiency plug fans with IE2 motors or EC plug fans.
All units are fully configurable to accomodate access and maintenance contraints. Optional ‘plug n play’ controls are available to reduce on-site installation time and costs.
Custom Built Air Handling Units
LTi along with their suppliers are able to design and build air handling plant for any application. The maximum unit capacity is almost limitless, subject to components that are available on the market.
The bespoke design normally enables us to offer a solution where physical constraints present a problem for standard modular based air handling units.
Our philosophy is to build a close working relationship with your professional team to analyze all possibilities for energy recovery as well as optimising component selections to reduce energy costs to an absolute minimum.
Custom solutions incorporating highly efficient energy recovery systems can include:

Using the very latest technology in adiabatic cooling technology, we are often able to develop a system offering free cooling for much of the year.
In many case, through 8760 hour calculations we are able to optimise the design of the air handling unit to focus on the lowest possible running costs.
Desiccant Cooling Systems:
Using the very latest desiccant technology we are able to introduce the idea of Active Humidity Control into the Air Conditioning system.
This system not only facilitates improved energy consumption but also allows a greater level of room comfort to be experienced by a larger number of the building occupants. Desiccant systems allow greater control over room humidity levels without the risk of over-cooling and the resultant increase in PPD.
Utilising the Dezicor patented desiccant technology enabling lower regeneration temperatures, enables us to offer an effective low energy desiccant solution.
The design and incorporation of direct expansion refrigeration can minimize space requirements while maximising energy efficiency. All systems undergo a factory functional test.
For applications that require remote heat rejection we are able to provide the design, installation, site testing, charging and commissioning of the interconnecting refrigerant pipework system.
Controls and Integration
Bespoke air handling plant and where in-built refrigeration is included, controls would be designed, engineered, supplied, installed and commissioned to meet your specification. Where required, these can be compatible with Lonworks, Modbus, Bacnet, CAN-bus, MP-Bus and other protocols.
Data Centre Cooling
LTi specialise in low energy data centre cooling solutions. Utilising EC fan wall technlogy, our bespoke data centre cooling units provide considerable energy savings at part load compared with traditional CRAC units.
Combined with our advanced adaibatic cooling system, LTi can provide the complete data center cooling solution using the lowest energy possible.
All systems are modelled using our own hourly analysis software to compare the theoretical 86760 hourly energy consumption against alternative cooling methods.
Our hygienic grade air handling units comply with the requirements of DIN1946-4, EN 13053 and VDI 6022. These units are designed to provide clean conditioned air in the most demanding applications such as hospitals, pharmaceutical and food industries.
